Hours: Full-time (Sunday-Thursday) but we are open to part-time requests, with a minimum of 22.5 hours/week.

Are you passionate about youth ministry and eager to make a lasting impact in the heart of Bristol? Central Church, a vibrant and growing church in the city centre, is seeking a Youth Pastor to help us build on our strong foundation and see God’s kingdom grow through our young people and families.
The Role
- Lead and grow our youth ministry and mission for young people aged 11-18.
- Develop our Sunday morning and midweek youth ministry, working alongside and leading volunteers.
- Equip parents and carers to disciple their children at home.
- Identify new mission opportunities, building relationships with schools and the local community.
- Lead volunteers and interns, ensuring they are recruited safely and well-supported.
As Youth Pastor you will be in place to lead, grow and shape our work with young people, equipping them to become life-long followers of Jesus. You will be a self-starting individual that is passionate about pursuing Jesus and seeing the kingdom of God advance through ministry to young people.

- A mature Christian faith and commitment to the vision of Central Church.
- Experience in leading young people’s ministry and working with families from all backgrounds and environments.
- A strong team player with leadership skills, able to inspire and equip volunteers.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills, with a heart for outreach.
- Ability to create dynamic, engaging environments for young people’s spiritual and emotional growth.
Special Conditions
- There is a genuine occupational requirement for the post-holder to be a Christian. You’ll need to either be a member of Central Church or willing to join us, actively participating in our community life.
- 25 days of annual leave (including 6 Sundays) plus bank holidays.
- Automatic enrolment in the NEST pension scheme (4% contributions).
