Your Role as an Outreach Tutor
As an Outreach Tutor, you’ll be more than a teacher – you’ll be a mentor and guide for students who need extra support outside mainstream education, whether due to SEN, SEMH, or risk of exclusion. Here’s a glimpse of what you’ll be doing:

  • Personalised Tutoring: Tailor your lessons to students’ unique learning styles in subjects such as Maths, English, PSHE, and more.
  • Inspire and Support: Help students overcome challenges, build confidence, and achieve their academic goals.

Qualifications and Skills

  • A background with students of varying ages, including those with SEND.
  • Preferred Qualifications: QTS, QTLS, PGCE, or a degree in Education, English, Maths, or a related field.
  • Essential Attributes: Strong communication, patience, empathy, and a passion for student growth.
  • Enhanced DBS Check: Required to work with our students.
