New Way Tuition Ltd is seeking dedicated SEN Outreach Tutors to support children and young people who are currently not accessing mainstream education. You will provide 1:1 or small group support to students with SEN, SEMH, and additional learning needs from EYFS to Year 11. Sessions take place in homes, libraries, or schools, depending on individual needs.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver personalised learning sessions
- Support students with a range of SEN and behavioural needs
- Build positive relationships with learners and families
- Keep basic session notes/progress reports
- Maintain safeguarding and professional standards
Requirements
- Essential
- Experience working with children or young people
- Experience supporting SEN and/or SEMH
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain)
- Able to travel locally and work independently
- Desirable
- Experience as a TA, LSA, HLTA, mentor, youth worker, or unqualified tutor
- Experience in alternative provision or 1:1 settings
