At New Way Tuition Ltd, we work with children and young people who may struggle in mainstream education due to SEN, SEMH needs, or other challenges. Through personalised tuition and mentoring, we help students rebuild confidence, develop key skills, and reconnect with learning.
As an Outreach Tutor, you will provide one-to-one or small group tuition to students aged EYFS to Year 11, supporting them across subjects such as:
- English
- Maths
- PSHE
- Interventions and mentoring
Sessions are typically delivered in students’ homes, libraries, or schools, allowing tutors to create a supportive and focused learning environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and delivering engaging, tailored lessons
- Supporting students’ academic progress and emotional development
- Encouraging motivation and confidence in learning
- Adapting teaching methods to suit individual learning styles
What We’re Looking For:
- Have experience working with children or young people
- Possess strong knowledge of English and Maths
- Are patient, adaptable, and supportive
- Have experience supporting SEND or additional needs
Preferred (but not essential):
- QTS, PGCE, QTLS, or a relevant degree
A current Enhanced DBS is required for this role.
