The Role As an Outreach Tutor you will support students who do not attend mainstream education due to SEN, SEMH, or risk of permanent exclusion. Sessions will be one‑to‑one or group, conducted at pupils’ homes, local libraries, and schools, in subjects including basic Maths, English, PSHE, interventions, and mentoring. You will coach learners from EYFS to Year 11, up to GCSE/Functional Skills levels.

Qualifications
- Previous experience in tutoring or teaching, especially with diverse age groups.
- QTS (QTLS), PGCE or a Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, Maths, or a related field (preferred but not essential).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for student success.
- Flexibility to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs.
- Strong understanding of Literacy and Maths; experience working with children, including those with SEND.
- Current Enhanced DBS check.
