We are seeking an experienced and motivated Supported Living Manager to lead a dedicated team within a specialist supported living service in the HA8 area. This role is focused on delivering high-quality, person‑centred support to adults with learning disabilities and mental health needs, promoting independence, choice, and positive outcomes. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing supported living services, driving compliance, developing teams, and maintaining excellent standards of care.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership & Team Development: Lead, motivate, and develop a team of support staff, creating a positive and high‑performing culture. Provide coaching, supervision, and performance management to ensure exceptional service delivery. Promote company values and best practice across the service.
- Quality & Compliance: Ensure the service remains fully compliant with CQC regulations and contractual requirements. Conduct regular audits and implement action plans to drive continuous improvement. Maintain robust safeguarding, health & safety, and risk management processes.
- Person‑Centred Support: Oversee the delivery of personalised support plans that promote independence, wellbeing, and community engagement. Ensure individuals are supported to achieve their goals and live fulfilling lives.
- Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with families, local authorities, healthcare professionals, and other key stakeholders. Act as the main point of contact for external partners and regulatory bodies.
- Operational Management: Manage staffing levels, rotas, budgets, and occupancy across the service. Ensure resources are utilised effectively while maintaining excellent standards of support.
Qualifications
- NVQ Level 5 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent) – Essential
- Minimum 3 years' experience as a Service Manager within a Supported Living setting – Essential
- Strong knowledge of CQC regulations, safeguarding, and supported living best practice.
- Proven experience leading and developing teams.
- Experience managing budgets, audits, and service performance.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and stakeholder management skills.
- Full UK driving licence preferred.
