We are supporting an established care provider in the recruitment of a Registered Domiciliary Manager to lead and develop a high-quality homecare service in Sunderland. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced care professional who combines strong operational leadership with a genuine passion for person-centred care.

The Role

You will take overall responsibility for the effective management and continued development of the domiciliary care service, ensuring people receive safe, compassionate and consistently high-quality care.

Key responsibilities include:

• Lead and manage the day-to-day operation of the domiciliary care service.
  
• Ensure care is delivered safely, respectfully and in line with individual needs and preferences.
  
• Maintain strong compliance with CQC regulations, legislation and best practice .
  
• Lead, support and develop a committed care team, promoting a positive and accountable culture.
  
• Oversee recruitment, induction, supervision, training and performance management.
  
• Monitor care plans, risk assessments, audits, incidents, safeguarding and quality assurance.
  
• Build strong relationships with people receiving care, their families, professionals and external stakeholders.
  
• Monitor service performance, staffing levels and operational effectiveness.
  
• Drive continuous improvement and ensure the service is always striving for better outcomes.
  
• Support the continued growth and development of the service while maintaining excellent standards of care.
  

What We’re Looking For

• Previous management experience within domiciliary/homecare services .
  
• Strong understanding of CQC regulations and compliance requirements .
  
• Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop a care team.
  
• Excellent knowledge of safeguarding, risk management and person-centred care.
  
• Strong communication, organisational and leadership skills.
  
• A genuine passion for improving people’s lives.
  
• Ideally, experience as a Registered Manager or significant senior management experience within domiciliary care.
