The Role



  • Support the Registered Manager with the effective day-to-day running of the service.

  • Lead, motivate and develop a dedicated care team.

  • Maintain high standards of person-centred care and safeguarding.

  • Support with CQC compliance, audits, quality assurance and governance.

  • Monitor care plans, risk assessments and service documentation.

  • Support recruitment, induction, supervision and ongoing staff development.

  • Manage incidents, concerns and complaints appropriately.

  • Promote a positive, inclusive culture focused on the wellbeing and dignity of those supported.

  • Step up and provide leadership in the Registered Manager's absence.


About You



  • Proven experience working at Deputy Manager level within adult social care.

  • Strong understanding of CQC and regulatory requirements.

  • Confident with compliance, audits and governance.

  • A natural leader who can inspire and develop teams.

  • Organised, resilient and confident making decisions.

  • Passionate about delivering compassionate, person-centred care.
