New Way Recruitment is working with a well-established, high-performing residential care provider seeking an experienced Office Admin Manager to take responsibility for the smooth and efficient running of the administrative and financial functions within the care home.

This is a key role within the service, requiring someone who is highly organised, commercially aware and confident managing SAGE, payroll, invoicing, spreadsheets and the wider administrative function .

The Opportunity

You will work closely with the Home Manager and senior leadership team, overseeing day-to-day administration, financial processes, payroll and compliance-related documentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day office administration of the care home
  • Manage and maintain SAGE , ensuring financial information is accurate and up to date
  • Manage payroll administration , ensuring information is processed accurately and within deadlines
  • Handle invoicing , payments, fee tracking and associated financial administration
  • Maintain and manage spreadsheets, reports and financial records
  • Oversee resident records, contracts, documentation and general administration
  • Maintain accurate employee records and support HR administration, including staff files and compliance checks
  • Support recruitment and onboarding processes
  • Coordinate audits, reporting and internal administration systems
  • Ensure all administrative processes are compliant with organisational requirements and relevant regulations
  • Act as a professional point of contact for families, professionals and external stakeholders where required
  • Work closely with the Home Manager and wider leadership team to support the smooth running of the service
  • Ensure all records, data and systems are accurate, organised and maintained to a high standard
  • Take ownership of the overall administrative function and ensure deadlines are consistently met

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in an Office Manager, Care Home Administrator, Finance Administrator or similar role
  • Previous experience within health and social care or a care home environment is highly desirable
  • Strong SAGE experience is essential
  • Experience managing payroll and invoicing
  • Strong Excel/spreadsheet skills and confidence working with financial data
  • Excellent organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work to deadlines
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A proactive, reliable and professional approach
  • Experience handling confidential information appropriately
  • The ability to work independently while working closely with senior management
  • Competitive salary of £40,000 – £44,000 DOE
