We are seeking a dedicated HR Manager to lead and strengthen people strategy across a growing portfolio of care services. The Role:
- Provide strategic and operational HR leadership across residential, nursing and specialist care services, ensuring workforce stability, regulatory compliance and a values‑driven culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of a robust HR strategy aligned to care sector regulations and best practice.
- Provide expert guidance on employment law, ER casework, disciplinaries, grievances and performance management.
- Oversee safer recruitment processes in line with CQC standards and safeguarding requirements.
- Drive workforce planning, retention strategies and succession planning.
- Support Registered Managers and senior leaders with complex people matters.
- Develop policies and procedures compliant with employment legislation and regulatory frameworks.
- Monitor HR metrics including turnover, absence, and agency usage to improve operational efficiency.
- Lead training, development and leadership initiatives to enhance service performance.
- Promote a positive, inclusive and compassionate workplace culture.
Qualifications:
- Proven HR management experience within the care sector (residential, nursing or specialist services).
- Strong working knowledge of CQC standards and regulatory expectations.
- Up-to-date knowledge of UK employment law.
- Experience supporting multi‑site operations.
- Confident communicator with the ability to influence at senior level.
