We are proud to be partnering with a well-established elderly care provider to recruit an experienced and driven Head of Quality to oversee services across Essex, London and surrounding regions. This is a senior leadership role for a quality-focused professional who lives and breathes standards, governance and continuous improvement within care home settings.

The Role
  • Provide strategic and operational oversight of quality and compliance across a portfolio of elderly care homes
  • Lead on CQC readiness, inspection preparation and post-inspection action planning
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across clinical governance, safeguarding and risk management
  • Support Home Managers and senior teams to embed robust audit and quality assurance frameworks
  • Identify underperforming services and implement structured turnaround plans
  • Ensure best practice, safe care delivery and regulatory compliance at all times
  • Work closely with operational leadership to align quality with commercial sustainability
About You
  • Significant senior-level quality leadership experience within elderly care homes – essential
  • Strong working knowledge of the CQC framework and regulatory standards
  • Proven track record improving and sustaining CQC ratings
  • Experienced supporting ‘Requires Improvement’ or challenged services
  • Confident, visible leader with the ability to influence at board and operational level
