Head of Nursing Care to join a well-established, high-quality nursing service in West London.

This is an ideal role for a compassionate and commercially aware clinical leader who is passionate about delivering outstanding person‑centred care, leading high‑performing nursing teams, and driving continuous quality improvement.

You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring clinical excellence, maintaining regulatory compliance, and creating an environment where both residents and colleagues can thrive.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic clinical leadership across the nursing service, promoting excellence in resident care.
  • Lead, mentor and develop nursing teams, fostering a positive, supportive and accountable culture.
  • Ensure full compliance with CQC standards, clinical governance frameworks and regulatory requirements.
  • Drive continuous quality improvement through audits, action plans and evidence‑based practice.
  • Oversee medication management, infection prevention and control, safeguarding and risk management.
  • Support recruitment, induction, retention and professional development of nursing staff.
  • Monitor clinical outcomes, incidents and performance indicators, implementing improvements where required.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, residents, relatives and external healthcare professionals.
  • Support occupancy through the delivery of exceptional clinical standards and positive resident outcomes.
  • Contribute to budget management while ensuring safe, effective and high‑quality service delivery.

About You

  • Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) with an active NMC Pin.
  • Significant senior leadership experience within elderly nursing care.
  • Strong knowledge of CQC regulations, clinical governance and quality assurance.
  • Proven experience leading, developing and motivating multidisciplinary teams.
  • Confident managing audits, safeguarding, medication management and compliance.
  • Excellent communication, organisational and decision‑making skills.
  • Passionate about delivering compassionate, person‑centred care.
