An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and compassionate Registered Manager to join a well-established care provider delivering high-quality Domiciliary Care and Supported Living services across the St Albans area.

The Role

The Registered Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day management and leadership of the service, ensuring the delivery of safe, effective, and compassionate care in line with CQC standards and company values. You will oversee both domiciliary care and supported living operations, supporting service users with varying levels of need while driving compliance, quality, and team development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the operational management of domiciliary care and supported living services
  • Ensure full CQC compliance and maintain high-quality care standards
  • Lead, support, and develop care teams to deliver exceptional person centred care
  • Manage staffing, recruitment, rotas, and performance management processes
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with families, healthcare professionals, and local authorities
  • Support business growth, occupancy, and service development
  • Ensure safeguarding, medication management, and health & safety standards are consistently met
  • Monitor care quality, audits, and continuous improvement plans

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Registered Manager within domiciliary care and/or supported living
  • Strong understanding of CQC regulations and compliance standards
  • Proven leadership and team management experience
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Passionate about delivering compassionate, high-quality care
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care (or working towards)
  • Full UK driving licence preferred
