Are you an experienced senior care professional looking to take the next step in your career? We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Deputy Manager to join our well-established, medium-sized residential care home in the beautiful village of Nayland.
Working closely with the Home Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care while supporting the day-to-day management of the home. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual who is passionate about achieving outstanding outcomes for residents and leading a committed care team.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Home Manager in the overall running of the service.
- Lead, motivate and develop the care team to deliver exceptional standards of care.
- Ensure compliance with CQC regulations and company policies.
- Promote a positive culture focused on resident wellbeing, dignity and independence.
- Assist with staff recruitment, training, supervision and performance management.
- Support occupancy growth and maintain excellent relationships with residents, families and healthcare professionals.
- Participate in the on-call rota as required.
About You
- Previous experience in a senior leadership role within a care home setting.
- Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and best practice in elderly care.
- Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care as a minimum (Level 5 desirable or willingness to work towards).
- Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.
- Passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred care.
