Interim Regional Manager to support a portfolio of Residential and Nursing Homes across Kent.
This is an excellent opportunity for a compassionate and commercially astute leader who is passionate about delivering exceptional care, supporting Home Managers and achieving outstanding outcomes for residents.
This interim assignment will suit an individual who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys improving services and is confident leading change while maintaining a person-centred approach.
The Role
You'll provide strategic and operational leadership across a portfolio of care homes, working closely with Home Managers to enhance quality, strengthen compliance and improve performance.
You'll champion compassionate leadership, empower teams and ensure residents receive the highest standards of care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide operational leadership across a portfolio of Residential and Nursing Homes.
- Support, coach and develop Home Managers to achieve exceptional outcomes.
- Drive continuous improvements in quality, governance and regulatory compliance.
- Prepare services for inspections and maintain strong regulatory standards.
- Monitor financial performance, occupancy, budgets and KPIs.
- Identify operational risks and implement effective improvement plans.
- Lead on change management, service transformation and performance improvement.
- Build high-performing, engaged and values-led management teams.
- Ensure safe, person-centred care is delivered consistently across all services.
- Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders and external professionals to achieve positive outcomes.
About You
- Previous experience as a Regional Manager, Operations Manager or Senior Operations Manager within elderly care.
- Strong knowledge of Residential and Nursing Home operations.
- Excellent understanding of CQC regulations, compliance and governance.
- Proven experience improving underperforming services.
- Confident managing multiple sites within a regional remit.
- Commercially aware with strong financial and operational management skills.
- Compassionate, supportive and visible leadership style.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel throughout Kent.
