We are looking for a confident and compassionate

Clinical Lead Nurse to provide strong clinical leadership within a well-established nursing service.

The Role

As Clinical Lead, you will play a key role in maintaining high standards of clinical care, supporting the nursing and care teams, and ensuring residents receive safe, dignified and person-centred support.

Key responsibilities include

  • Providing day-to-day clinical leadership and guidance to nursing and care teams.
  • Maintaining high standards of clinical care, governance and compliance.
  • Overseeing care planning, assessments, medication and clinical documentation.
  • Leading clinical audits and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Supporting nurses and care staff through supervision, mentoring and clinical guidance.
  • Monitoring residents' health and wellbeing and responding appropriately to changing needs.
  • Working collaboratively with GPs, community teams, families and other healthcare professionals.
  • Promoting safeguarding, infection prevention, health and safety and best clinical practice.
  • Supporting a positive culture focused on dignity, choice, independence and quality of life.
  • Remaining hands-on within the service and leading by example.

About You

The successful candidate will be a

Registered Nurse with an active NMC PIN and, importantly, will have a proven track record of working as a Clinical Lead within a nursing home environment .

You will be a confident clinical leader with strong knowledge of governance, compliance and person-centred care.

You will also be approachable, compassionate and comfortable working alongside care teams to achieve excellent outcomes for residents.

  • Working Pattern
  • £23.50 per hour
  • 40 hours per week | 5 days over 7
  • Mixture of early, midday and evening shifts depending on service requirements
  • Weekends on a rota basis

3 days focused on clinical/office-based responsibilities and 2 days working alongside the care team on the floor
