The Role

As Care Co‑ordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring care services are delivered safely, efficiently and compassionately. Working closely with care staff, clients and families, you'll ensure every individual receives a personalised service that reflects their needs and promotes positive outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage care staff rotas to ensure safe, consistent care delivery.
  • Match carers to clients based on skills, experience and individual preferences.
  • Respond promptly to changes in care requirements, emergencies and staffing needs.
  • Liaise with clients, families and healthcare professionals to maintain excellent communication.
  • Support the onboarding and induction of new care staff.
  • Assist with care reviews, service updates and maintaining accurate records.
  • Ensure compliance with CQC standards, company policies and safeguarding procedures.
  • Monitor service quality and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Provide excellent customer service whilst building trusted relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Support the Registered Manager with the day‑to‑day coordination of the service.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience in a Care Co‑ordinator or similar scheduling role within domiciliary care.
  • Strong organisational and time‑management skills.
  • Confident communicator with excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and solution‑focused under pressure.
  • Good IT skills and experience using care management systems.
  • Understanding of CQC regulations and person‑centred care.
  • Compassionate, dependable and committed to delivering outstanding care.
