Are you an experienced quality leader within adult social care who is passionate about driving excellence, improving outcomes, and leading positive change?

We are seeking a dedicated and commercially aware Quality Manager to support a growing portfolio of care services across the Midlands and South.

This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious senior professional who thrives on raising standards, embedding best practice, and supporting operational teams to deliver exceptional person-centred care.

This role would suit an experienced Quality Manager, Regional Support Manager, Operations Manager or senior care leader with a strong understanding of compliance, governance, and continuous improvement within the health and social care sector.

The Role

As Quality Manager, you will work closely with senior operational leaders to strengthen quality performance across multiple services, ensuring compliance excellence while supporting teams to deliver compassionate, safe, and effective care.

Please note: this is a regional role requiring regular travel and overnight stays away from home where required to support services across the portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead quality improvement initiatives across a portfolio of care services
  • Conduct audits, service reviews, mock inspections, and compliance assessments
  • Support services in achieving and maintaining positive regulatory outcomes
  • Analyse performance data, identify trends, and implement improvement plans
  • Coach and mentor Home Managers and senior teams to embed best practice
  • Support with action planning following incidents, complaints, and inspections
  • Drive a culture focused on person-centred care, dignity, safety, and continuous improvement
  • Work collaboratively with operational leadership teams to improve occupancy, reputation, and quality performance
  • Ensure policies, procedures, and governance frameworks remain compliant and effective
  • Provide hands‑on support to services requiring additional quality or operational guidance
  • Travel extensively across the region and stay away overnight where operationally required
  • What We’re Looking For
  • Proven senior leadership experience within adult social care
  • Strong understanding of CQC regulations, governance, and compliance frameworks
  • Experience supporting multi-site care services
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel extensively
  • Flexibility to stay away from home when required
  • Passion for delivering outstanding care outcomes
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and coaching skills
  • Ability to influence, inspire, and build strong working relationships
