The Role
As a Carer, you will play a vital role in delivering person-centred support that promotes dignity, independence, choice, and wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality personal care and practical support tailored to individual needs.
- Build positive and trusting relationships with the people you support.
- Assist with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, mobility, meal preparation, and medication support where required.
- Encourage independence and empower individuals to achieve their goals and maintain their skills.
- Support with social activities, community engagement, and meaningful hobbies and interests.
- Observe, monitor, and accurately record care needs and any changes in wellbeing.
- Work collaboratively with families, colleagues, and healthcare professionals to ensure the best outcomes for those receiving support.
- Promote safeguarding, dignity, respect, and equality at all times.
