We are currently seeking a compassionate Chef to join a warm and dedicated care team in Southend-on-Sea. In this pivotal role, you will lead the kitchen in providing high-quality, balanced meals tailored to the individual dietary, cultural, and medical needs of residents within a person-centred healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Nutritional Care: Plan and prepare nutritious, well-balanced menu options that cater to specific dietary requirements, including modified textures, diabetic diets, and personal preferences.
  • Person-Centred Dining: Engage with residents to understand their personal tastes and dining feedback, creating culinary experiences that bring comfort and dignity to daily life.
  • Kitchen Governance: Maintain exceptional standards of food hygiene, kitchen cleanliness, and safety in compliance with CQC regulations, Food Safety Standards, and HACCP guidelines.
