A highly regarded UK law firm is seeking an experienced candidate within probate who is ready to step into a more advanced, client-facing role within its established Private Client team. This is an excellent opportunity to move beyond traditional paralegal duties into a fee-earning position, taking ownership of probate matters while working closely with experienced lawyers in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting with the administration of estates from instruction through to completion
- Preparing probate applications and associated legal documentation
- Maintaining accurate estate accounts and financial records
- Liaising with clients, beneficiaries, and third parties daily
- Assisting with the collection and distribution of estate assets
- Supporting the preparation of inheritance tax returns
- Providing regular updates to senior fee earners and partners
- Ensuring high standards of client care and regulatory compliance
- Supporting business development activities and attending relevant events

About You
- Previous experience within Private Client / Probate
- Currently working as a Paralegal or in a similar role

- Law degree, CILEX qualification, or equivalent experience preferred
