Overview
Above Bar Church is a large and growing church in Southampton. Based in 2 campuses, we serve the local community and seek to point them towards a relationship with Jesus Christ. We are looking to recruit a Ministry Trainee.
Responsibilities
- Develop the trainee as a ministry leader and disciple of Jesus, growing in spiritual disciplines and biblical understanding.
- Participate in a program that includes directed training and self-study.
- Gain experience in one core ministry area within the life of the Church (for example children, youth, small groups or internationals).
- Gain exposure to other aspects of church life, work and ministry.
Contract and Training Details
The role is offered as a 1 year fixed term contract with a potential to extend to a second year. For more information, please download our attached job description.
