Above Bar Church is a large and growing church in Southampton.

Based in 2 campuses, we serve the local community and seek to point them towards a relationship with Jesus Christ.

We are looking to recruit a Ministry Trainee.

Responsibilities

  • Develop the trainee as a ministry leader and disciple of Jesus, growing in spiritual disciplines and biblical understanding.
  • Participate in a program that includes directed training and self-study.
  • Gain experience in one core ministry area within the life of the Church (for example children, youth, small groups or internationals).
  • Gain exposure to other aspects of church life, work and ministry.
