We have an exciting opportunity for a full‑time Youth & Children’s Worker who is passionate about helping the next generation come to faith — both within our church family and across the wider community.

Alongside our regular Sunday worship, we offer a range of activities and outreach events for all ages, including a thriving Tiny Tots group, Café Church, Outdoor Church and invitation suppers.

About The Role
This is a key role in the life of our church.
We are looking for an experienced, creative, and passionate individual who will build on the excellent work already in place and help shape the next chapter of our youth and children’s ministry.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, support, and grow a team of volunteers.
- Develop engaging, age‑appropriate activities for children and young people.
- Create fresh and imaginative ways to connect with young people in our local community.
- Help children and young people encounter Jesus, grow as disciples, and feel at home within our church family.
- Work collaboratively with the wider ministry team to integrate youth and children’s work into the life of the church.
- Ensure all activities are delivered safely and in line with safeguarding best practice.

- Strong communication skills — clear, encouraging, and a good listener.
- Able to lead, support, and inspire volunteers, helping them grow in confidence and skills.
- A collaborative team‑player, willing to “muck in” and take a practical, hands‑on approach when needed.
- Organised and reliable, able to plan sessions and manage time effectively.
- Committed to safeguarding and the wellbeing of all children and young people.

The successful applicant will be required to complete safeguarding training and undergo an enhanced DBS check.
