The Dean Close Foundation is seeking a highly organised and committed Chaplaincy Coordinator to support the effective running of chaplaincy across the Foundation. This full‑time position is 34 weeks per year. The role is primarily non‑residential, but may become residential for the right applicant. The Chaplaincy Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring the effectiveness, coherence and smooth running of chaplaincy across the Foundation.

Responsibilities

  • Support chaplains through administration and programme coordination
  • Coordinate and deliver chaplaincy events
  • Maintain compliance with relevant regulations and policies
  • Communicate with staff, students and external partners
  • Contribute to the relational, pastoral and spiritual life of chaplaincy, as appropriate to experience and development

Qualifications

  • Clear and committed Christian faith aligned with the ethos of the Foundation
  • Experience in an operational and administrative support role within the Education, Charity and/or Not‑for‑Profit sector
  • Strong organisational and coordination skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
