Full time, fixed term contract (43 hours per week) – Salary £32,383 per annum (pro rata £622.75 per week). A rare opportunity to spend six months in residency at a busy building‑based theatre, supporting one of the New Vic’s ‘legendary’ Christmas productions while gaining experience in regional producing theatre.
This role involves assisting Artistic Director Theresa Heskins on the 2026 Christmas production of The Borrowers and providing creative and managerial support within a complex organisation. Our ideal candidate has previous experience of assisting in directing professional actors and a strong interest in producing work for families and young people.
The successful applicant will confidently lead a rehearsal room, take responsibility for managing and supporting show staff, and oversee a large acting company.
