Business Development Manager Security Services
Location: Midlands / North West (M6 Corridor)
salary: Β£55,000 basic + commission
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to win new security guarding contracts and drive profitable business growth.
You will identify new opportunities, build strong relationships with clients and manage the sales process from initial contact through to contract award. You will work closely with Operations, Bids, Mobilisation and Compliance teams to ensure solutions are commercially competitive and operationally deliverable.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate and win new security guarding business.
- Build and manage a strong sales pipeline.
- Identify new opportunities through networking, referrals, LinkedIn, tenders and proactive sales activity.
- Develop relationships with senior client decision-makers.
- Manage opportunities from initial prospecting through to contract award.
- Prepare and deliver proposals, tenders and presentations.
- Develop security solutions that meet client requirements and deliver strong commercial returns.
- Negotiate pricing and contract terms.
- Identify opportunities to grow existing client accounts.
- Work with internal teams to support successful contract mobilisation.
- Keep CRM records, forecasts and pipeline information up to date.
- Achieve agreed sales, revenue and profitability targets.
- Keep up to date with market and competitor activity.

Experience & Skills
The successful candidate will have:
- At least 3 years experience in Business Development or Sales.
