We’re working with a well-established and growing business that is committed to putting sustainability at the heart of its product and supply chain strategy. They are now looking to hire a Sustainability Programme Manager to support the delivery of key environmental initiatives across their product portfolio. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working across multiple projects, influencing stakeholders, and driving measurable sustainability outcomes.
The Role
You’ll play a central role in supporting, developing, and delivering sustainability projects across key product-related workstreams. These include:
- Packaging and waste reduction
- Food waste initiatives
- Carbon and emissions reduction
- Responsible sourcing (e.g. soy, palm oil, fisheries)
- Health and wider emerging sustainability topics
You’ll be responsible for coordinating activity across these areas, ensuring projects are delivered effectively, data is accurately reported, and governance standards are maintained.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of sustainability projects from planning through to execution
- Manage and develop reporting, data tracking, and performance insights
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, suppliers, NGOs, and external partners
- Ensure all activity is delivered efficiently, with a continuous improvement mindset
- Contribute ideas to improve processes and ways of working
- Support governance and ensure accuracy in project outputs
- Balance multiple priorities while meeting tight deadlines
About You
- Degree (or equivalent experience) in Sustainability, Environmental Science, or a related field
- Experience working in sustainability, ESG, or product-related projects
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present data
- Highly organised with excellent project management capabilities
- Confident communicator, able to build relationships at all levels
- Proactive, collaborative, and solutions-focused mindset
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities
- Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills
