We are working with a highly regarded and growing organisation that is seeking a passionate and commercially focused Senior Finance Manager to join their Supply Chain and Logistics finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a collaborative business where you’ll play a key role in driving efficiency and cost control across their distribution network.
The Opportunity: This position is central to supporting logistics operations through robust financial reporting, analysis, and strategic forecasting. You’ll manage a team of three and be responsible for delivering insight and challenge to ensure value for money across the supply chain.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead financial reporting for the supply chain and logistics cost centre
- Attend and contribute to depot reviews, challenging performance, and identifying areas for improvement
- Analyse weekly depot performance against budget and forecasts
- Conduct scenario planning and assess operational cost implications
- Support budgeting and forecasting in close collaboration with the depot and logistics teams
- Influence short, medium, and long-term financial planning
- Assist with logistics contract negotiations
