An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Site Maintenance Engineer to join a successful, forward-thinking company based in Deeside. This office-based role is ideal for a proactive and skilled facilities professional looking to play a key role in maintaining a high-performing working environment.
As Site Maintenance Engineer, you’ll ensure that the office, depot, and associated facilities are maintained safely, efficiently, and in line with best practices and legislative requirements.
- Mechanical & Electrical Maintenance (Electrically Biased)
- Maintain the buildings and facilities to the highest standard, ensuring equipment and infrastructure operate effectively.
- Perform both planned and reactive maintenance.
- Monitor and maintain large industrial ammonia refrigeration systems to ensure optimal performance.
- General & Emergency Lighting
- Refrigeration Plant
- Dock Levellers
- Oversee building management systems, including Trend.
- Manage inventory and maintain critical spare parts.
- Install and commission new plant and equipment.
- Support internal relocations of furniture and audio/visual equipment as needed.
- Conduct plumbing and drainage maintenance.
- Carry out electrical testing and fault finding.
- Contribute to R&D projects, ensuring the adoption of industry best practices.
Finance & Contract Support:
- Assist the Facilities Manager in delivering contractual and maintenance obligations within budget.
In-depth knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, health & safety legislation, and compliance standards (e.g., ONC or City & Guilds Certificate in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering).
GCSEs or equivalent in Maths, English, and Science.
Full, clean UK driving licence.
Electrically biased with solid mechanical knowledge.
C&G 2079 F-Gas & ODS Regulations ~ 2391 Inspection & Testing or equivalent ~ PAT Testing (C&G 2377-77) ~ Counterbalance FLT Licence ~ IPAF 3a/3b.
