Freelance Motion & AI Designer (UK remote)

CMTG Magic creates Hollywood-quality motion & AI social media content for U.S. Small & Medium businesses and we’re hiring a senior freelancer to capture a clients brand essence and create scroll-stopping branded social media content. UK-based (US client hours overlap).
We are growing quickly and this is an excellent opportunity to join a high growth business at an early stage.
B2B multi-client experience is ideal.
You’ll:
· Turn concise briefs into scroll-stopping Reels/Shorts/LinkedIn videos within 72h.
· Audit & elevate client branding (visual system, motion language, thumbnails).
· Build a lightweight Brand Playbook for new clients (brand character, colourways, fonts, motion rules, thumbnail/cover templates, post examples).
· Collaborate with our Senior Social Media Manager on priorities, feedback and approvals.
Stack
· After Effects + Premiere/CapCut; Runway / Pika / Stable Diffusion / Midjourney (or similar).
Must-haves
· 4+ years social motion design (agency or freelance) with live portfolio.
· Proven AI-accelerated workflow without losing brand fidelity.
· Impeccable typography, pacing and layout for mobile.
· Comfortable working with US founders/SMBs and tight timelines.
· Clean file hygiene, naming and handover discipline.
Nice-to-haves
· Basic 3D for product hero shots (Blender/C4D-lite).
· Figma/Canva for social templates and thumbnails.
Quality bar
· On-time delivery ≥95%, ≤2 edit rounds on average.
· Demonstrable lift on watch time/saves vs prior posts.
