New Town Hanover is partnering with a market-leading major food producer to appoint a Commercial Director into a pivotal senior leadership role based near Edinburgh. The role will suit a commercially rigorous, customer-facing leader who understands the pace, complexity, and margin discipline required when supplying the UK’s major grocery multiples.

Reporting to the executive leadership team, the role will lead the commercial strategy for the business, taking ownership of key customer relationships, category performance, pricing, negotiation, margin improvement, and sustainable growth. They will work closely with operations, technical, finance, and supply chain colleagues to ensure that commercial ambition is aligned with customer expectations, product quality, and operational capability.

We are looking for candidates who can bring:

  • A strong track record in commercial leadership within fresh food, fresh produce or a closely related food manufacturing environment
