Interim Payroll & Benefits Specialist to take ownership of a complex payroll environment and bring structure, controls and documentation to a critical function.

This is not a payroll leadership role where you'll oversee a team.

We're looking for someone who has personally processed payrolls themselves and is comfortable rolling up their sleeves from day one.

Key responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end UK payroll processing.
  • Coordinate outsourced payrolls across Singapore, Malaysia, Japan, India and the US.
  • Manage benefits and share scheme administration.
  • Build payroll standard operating procedures and process documentation from scratch.
  • Support payroll controls, reconciliations and stakeholder queries.
  • Work closely with Finance and People teams to improve payroll processes and governance.

What we're looking for

  • Proven experience running complex UK payrolls end-to-end.
  • Experience coordinating international payroll providers.
  • Exposure to Infinet Cloud, Deel, Net Suite and/or Hi Bob.
  • CIPP qualified or equivalent practical payroll expertise.
  • Strong benefits administration experience.
  • Ability to document processes while delivering operational workload.
  • Calm, methodical approach with the ability to pick up a handover quickly and get productive at pace.
