Please note this role can be based out of London, Manchester or Leeds. We are looking for an experienced Researcher to join our growing executive search team, supporting high-profile assignments across a range of sectors. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for research, analysis, and delivering exceptional outcomes in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
The Role
- Working closely with our Search Consultants, you will play a critical role throughout the full search lifecycle - from brief inception through to shortlist delivery.
- You’ll provide high-quality market insight, candidate intelligence, and research support to ensure successful outcomes for both clients and candidates.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake in-depth research using a variety of tools and sources to identify and engage high-calibre candidates.
- Support Consultants with the day-to-day management of search assignments, including candidate management and client reporting.
- Work collaboratively with Consultants to align expectations around delivery capability, market conditions, salary benchmarking, and client attractiveness.
- Prepare clear, accurate, and well-structured research reports and detailed candidate profiles.
- Research and develop presentations for client meetings and pitches.
- Build and maintain longlists and shortlists, including writing high-quality candidate appraisals for client submission.
- Attend client meetings, interviews, and other relevant meetings where appropriate.
- Develop and maintain target lists of candidates and sources for current and future assignments.
- Contribute to knowledge sharing and the continuous improvement of research tools, processes, and methodologies.
About You
You will be an analytical, proactive, and detail-driven researcher who enjoys working collaboratively while also being comfortable taking ownership of your work. You will bring:
- Previous research experience gained within executive search or in-house recruitment environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a creative and tenacious approach to research.
- The ability to effectively interrogate online information sources to identify individuals and map key skills across a range of sectors.
- Excellent knowledge of published information sources and effective use of online and social media research tools.
- Well-developed written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and persuade.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities in a pressured environment while maintaining high quality standards.
- A client-focused mindset and commitment to service excellence.
- The confidence to work independently, alongside being a collaborative and effective team player who can engage at all levels.
