Worthing Homes is a community-focused housing association that manages c.4250 homes and supports around 10,000 customers across the Sussex coast. They are deeply rooted in their communities and proud of their reputation as a trusted landlord and partner.
Worthing Homes is now looking to recruit a Property Director to become a key part of its executive team. This is a new role with responsibility for the effective delivery of capital investment and planned programmes of work. There is a strong focus on building safety, sustainability, compliance, and putting customers at the heart of how they operate.
The successful candidate will champion improvement, using data, technology and innovation to continually enhance the performance of properties, bringing rigour and credibility to an agenda where compliance and asset management are under the spotlight. The role will also involve working with the rest of the senior leadership team to help drive change and embed a customer focussed culture across the organisation.
Worthing itself is known for its scenic 7-mile beach, bustling arts scene, and proximity to the South Downs National Park. The opportunity would suit candidates who are either already at executive director level and looking for a new challenge or those for whom this would be their first executive director position, but who have the necessary capability and desire and who would be excited about shaping the agenda with an ambitious housing association.
