People & Culture Business Partner | Manchester or London (hybrid)
Our client is a private equity-backed fintech software business with a global client base. It has grown through a series of acquisitions, and the next step is to bring those businesses together properly. That means one set of policies, one employee experience and one culture.
They need a hands-on People & Culture Business Partner at the centre of that work.
What you’ll do
- Be the go-to HR partner for managers across the business: performance, conduct, absence, wellbeing and ER, with practical, commercially sensible advice
- Help harmonise policies, processes, and terms and conditions across previously separate businesses
- Get involved in org design and change: restructures, role changes, consultation and the decisions that come with them
- Coach managers through change so that people are treated fairly and consistently and stay engaged
- Support resourcing, from hiring and onboarding to workforce and succession planning
- Work with Reward on pay reviews and recognition
- Keep people data clean and use it to make better decisions
- Look for ways to make core HR faster and simpler
What you’ll bring
- Solid generalist HRBP experience in a commercial, fast-moving business
- Strong working knowledge of UK employment law
- Real experience of change: restructures, consultations or org design
- Comfortable running day-to-day HR on your own and at pace
- Confident with HR systems and people data
MUST HAVE: Experience in a PE-backed or investor-led business
- M&A or post-acquisition integration, including TUPE or harmonising terms and conditions
- International HR exposure
Why this one
You’d be joining at the point where the real work starts. You’ll have visible influence on how a growing business runs, and you’ll see the results of your work across the organisation, not just in a single team.
The detail: Manchester or London. Hybrid, with three days a week in the office (Monday, Tuesday and Thursday).
