NSCG is partnering with a high-growth financial technology organisation seeking a Head of Information Security to lead and evolve its global security, governance, risk and compliance capability. This is a board-facing leadership position with responsibility for Information Security, GRC and IT Operations across a multinational business. The organisation operates within a highly regulated environment, serving major financial institutions globally, creating an opportunity for a senior security leader to influence technology strategy, operational resilience and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the enterprise-wide Information Security strategy and roadmap
- Lead security architecture, threat management, vulnerability management and incident response programmes
- Oversee ISO 27001, SOC 1, SOC 2 and broader governance, risk and compliance frameworks
- Drive cloud security, identity and access management, third-party risk management and data protection initiatives
- Partner with executive leadership, regulators, clients and auditors on security, risk and assurance matters
- Lead and develop a high-performing team across Information Security, GRC and IT Operations
Requirements
- 8+ years' Information Security experience, including senior leadership responsibility
- Proven ownership of ISO 27001 and SOC assurance programmes
- Strong understanding of cloud security, particularly AWS environments
- Experience operating within fintech, SaaS or regulated financial services businesses
- Ability to engage with boards, regulators and enterprise clients on complex security matters
- Experience managing security incidents, risk programmes and security assurance activities
