Community Housing owns and manages approximately 6000 homes across the Wyre Forest and neighbouring districts, ensuring their diverse customer base can access affordable, quality housing, from first-time buyers to those with 24/7 care needs. They are now looking to recruit a new Head of Property Care to lead and develop the in-house contractor (Property Care) delivering repairs, maintenance, investment works, M&E services and grounds maintenance.
The role will have responsibility for the development of a Property Care business plan (circa £15m) ensuring financial viability and value for money. The successful candidate will be an experienced leader with good knowledge of legislation, regulation, procurement, and good practice covering all aspects of repairs, maintenance and building safety services.
To succeed in the role, you should have experience of using customer insight data to identify trends and target resources to address risks and exploit opportunities for service development, along with a track record of achieving continuous improvement to deliver value for money and efficiency.
