Head of Operations London | Up to £110,000 + Package A UK regulated retail bank is seeking an experienced Head of Operations to lead a broad operational function during a period of growth, operational improvement and transformation. Reporting directly to the COO, this is a high-profile leadership role with responsibility for operational delivery, payments, mortgages operations, controls, operational resilience and supplier management. Oversee day-to-day operational delivery across payments, customer servicing and back-office functions. Ensure robust operational controls, governance and risk management frameworks are maintained. Own operational resilience, business continuity and third-party supplier oversight. Drive process improvement, efficiency and operational transformation initiatives. Partner with senior stakeholders across Risk, Compliance, Finance and Technology. Strong exposure to mortgages and payments operations. Experience delivering operational change, transformation or process improvement programmes. Experience within a small bank, challenger bank or building society environment is highly desirable. Strong people manager with a track record of building high-performing teams. Able to balance operational delivery, regulatory expectations and strategic change. Competitive benefits package
