We are seeking an enthusiastic individual with a passion for managing and delivering essential services to local communities. As the Community Project Co-ordinator, you will lead, manage, and deliver projects within the cohesion service area. This includes overseeing and reporting on grant-funded projects, developing initiatives that promote cohesion across the district, and coordinating partnership responses to wider social cohesion challenges.
In this role, you will influence and support a collaborative approach to the council’s cohesion agenda, representing the service at both local and regional levels. You will also take responsibility for implementing the Cohesion Action Plan in line with the district-wide Cohesion Strategy, working closely with the Community Cohesion and Equalities Manager to strengthen efforts that particularly benefit vulnerable groups.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with excellent project management and funding skills, strong communication abilities to engage partners at all levels, and experience working with diverse and vulnerable communities. A thorough understanding of current community cohesion challenges is essential.
