The role of a Domestic is more than just a job; it makes a huge difference to the wellbeing of our residents, and you’ll be a welcoming friendly face, building relationships with residents and the wider staff team. Making sure residents have a clean and homely environment gives them a lovely place to live and helps to keep residents safe from illnesses.

Knowledge of COSHH and infection control is desirable; full training will be provided.
About Our Home
Bridge House is a 37‑bedded residential home for older adults living with dementia, sensory impairment, and physical frailty. The facility is divided into three floors, each with separate dining/communal areas.
Benefits
Working at Westmorland and Furness Council you will receive a variety of benefits, including a competitive pension scheme, an enhanced annual leave allowance, and other perks and discount schemes. A £0.53p per hour market supplement will be applied after six months, bringing the hourly rate to £13.18 per hour. This supplement can be taken as a lump sum annually if preferred.
