UGO Bus delivers tailored, accessible transport for businesses, residents and public-sector organisations across Essex. This role involves driving a modern fleet of minibuses to provide a reliable, community-focused service. “It’s the variety of meeting different people and you do get to touch on their lives” – Tony, UGO Bus Driver.

Shift pattern: Split-shift schedule – Morning 7:30 am to 10:00 am; Afternoon 2:30 pm to 5:00 pm. Part-time and term-time salaries are pro-rata.

What We're Looking For

  • Hold a current driving licence with D1 entitlement.
  • Have experience working with customers from a wide range of backgrounds and needs.
  • Understand the importance of flexibility and can adapt to shifting demands.
  • Remain calm and professional under pressure.
  • Confident using a smartphone or tablet.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills in customer-facing environments.

If successful, you will complete an enhanced DBS check, pass an ECC minibus driver assessment and attend mandatory training including MiDAS and First aid.
