Are you organised, proactive and great with people? We’re looking for a motivated Administration Assistant to join our Business Support Team on a 12‑month temporary basis from August 2026. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in supporting our Parking Services and Traffic Assets teams, helping us deliver a high‑quality, customer‑focused service to residents, staff and partners.
What is involved?
As an Administration Assistant, you’ll provide essential back‑office support to ensure the smooth running of Parking Services and Traffic Assets. You will work closely with technical staff, operational teams and managers, helping us maintain efficient systems and support frontline service delivery. You’ll also contribute to our ongoing transformation work—helping to modernise systems, reduce paper use, streamline processes and support digital ways of working.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Providing day‑to‑day administrative support to Parking Services and Traffic Assets
- Maintaining accurate electronic records, filing systems and data input
- Supporting the development of leaner, more efficient processes
- Handling post, processing invoices and ensuring tasks are completed to deadlines
- Working collaboratively with colleagues across Business Support to ensure cover and continuity
- Supporting teams with documentation for insurance claims and risk‑related tasks
- Contributing to effective communication, continuous improvement and excellent customer service
What will I need?
You should have 5 GCSEs (A–C or equivalent). Please refer to the attached Person Specification for the full criteria.
