We have an exciting opportunity for a Data Performance Analyst to join us! This is a full‑time, permanent role with hybrid working and a salary of £39,526 - £43,613 per annum.

Role

As a Data Performance Analyst you will support data‑driven decision‑making within Adult Social Care by extracting, analysing and visualising data to support performance monitoring, statutory reporting, inspections and service improvement. Working closely with colleagues across Adult Social Care, Corporate Analytics, Public Health, Communities, IT and Finance, you will develop clear, meaningful insight that supports both strategic planning and day‑to‑day operational delivery. Reporting to the Data, Performance and Engagement Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Extract, clean and analyse data from a range of systems using SQL and Mosaic.
  • Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports.
  • Support the production of statutory returns and internal performance reports through Mosaic.
  • Identify trends, risks and opportunities to inform service improvement.
  • Support assurance activity, inspections and audits, including preparation of data and evidence.
  • Work collaboratively with services to understand data needs and translate them into usable insight.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of data processes, reporting tools and performance frameworks.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Strong experience in data analysis, performance and business intelligence, ideally within a public sector or Adult Social Care setting.
  • Confidence using SQL and Power BI to analyse and visualise complex data.
  • Ability to translate data into clear, actionable insight for a range of audiences.
  • Understanding of data quality, governance and GDPR.
  • Team‑working skills and ability to build effective relationships across teams.
  • Organised, able to prioritise work and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.

Experience of statutory reporting, inspections or Adult Social Care systems is welcome, but we are keen to hear from candidates who can demonstrate strong transferable analytical skills.
