About the Role

Working closely with the Assistant Director, you will lead services that have an immediate impact on households experiencing housing need.

This is about much more than processes, allocations and placements. You will help us make the best possible use of a scarce and valuable housing resource, improve the quality and value of temporary accommodation and ensure our decisions are fair, timely and consistent.

We want a leader who combines strong operational delivery with the ambition to challenge how things are done and shape better services for the future.

We are looking for people who are ambitious for Ealing and ambitious for our residents. Leaders who are comfortable driving change, combine strategic thinking with a strong grip on delivery, and understand that lasting improvement comes from working with residents, colleagues and partners.

We have made real progress, but our journey is not finished. That is precisely what makes this such an exciting time to join us.
