You will play a key leadership role in defining, articulating and communicating our key messages to a wide range of audiences: our residents, our partners and our staff. You’ll lead a portfolio that includes communications, consultation and events, ensuring that effective two-way communication is central to all that we do.
We’re looking for someone with proven experience in communications, media and reputation management – who can bring a planned, campaign led approach to our communication strategy, while recognising the need to be responsive within a fast-moving political environment.
You’ll promote some of our key programmes, including the Hemel Place Strategy and Hemel Garden Communities which together will deliver 11,000 new homes and 10,000 jobs in our community. And, with Local Government Reform reshaping our sector, our ongoing internal communication with staff will be more important than ever.
