We’re recruiting for our new Chief Executive at Wrexham County Borough Council, which is located between the Dee Valley, the North Wales mountains and the Cheshire Plains.
Wrexham Council continues to grow, develop and transform, and we’re looking for a visible leader who will spearhead sustainable, forward-looking and transformational services – boosting economic growth and social wellbeing, whilst managing the financial challenges that exist within the public sector.
You will have a vision of how we can develop further at this exciting time, in order to bring benefits to our residents and communities.
You will role-model the Nolan Principles alongside our council values, and be a leader who is empowered, and demonstrates trust and honesty.
You will drive aspiration for Wrexham, collaborate with stakeholders, and be passionate about making a difference.
You will show a compassionate and fair leadership style, whilst driving performance. You will also have considerable leadership experience, as well as influencing and negotiating skills that can help build consensus on key decisions both internally and externally.
