- HR Support Officer – Braintree District Council
- Role: HR Support Officer
Responsibilities
- Payroll processing.
- Contract production and HR administration.
- Coordinate recruitment processes.
- Manage the HR information system (i Trent).
- Respond to first‑level HR queries.
- Assemble and maintain employee records for joining, leaving, and internal movements.
- Provide first‑level advice on HR matters.
Qualifications
- Experience in HR administration, payroll, recruitment, and contract production.
- Experience using HRIS, preferably i Trent (MHR).
- Knowledge of HR and employment law.
- Excellent IT skills – MS Office, particularly Excel.
- High levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Track record of building relationships with line managers to resolve HR issues.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks to completion.
