Housing Demand is one of the biggest operational, financial and social challenges facing local government. As Assistant Director, you will provide strategic and operational leadership across this critical service, maintaining a strong grip on today's pressures while reshaping our approach for the future.

We want to prevent homelessness wherever possible, intervene earlier, strengthen partnerships and develop services that are increasingly preventative, evidence-led and financially sustainable. This is an opportunity not simply to manage Housing Demand, but to help shape a fundamentally different approach to homelessness and housing need in Ealing.

We are looking for people who are ambitious for Ealing and ambitious for our residents. Leaders who are comfortable driving change, combine strategic thinking with a strong grip on delivery, and understand that lasting improvement comes from working with residents, colleagues and partners.

We have made real progress, but our journey is not finished. That is precisely what makes this such an exciting time to join us.
