The Role
We are looking for a strong, compassionate leader to oversee the day-to-day running of a children’s residential home.
You will lead your team to deliver high-quality care, ensure full compliance with Ofsted standards, and create a safe, supportive environment where young people can thrive.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the daily operations of the home
- Develop and oversee individual care plans
- Ensure safeguarding is at the heart of everything you do
- Maintain compliance with Ofsted and regulatory standards
- Lead, support, and develop your staff team
- Manage rotas, on-call duties, and performance
- Oversee budgets and resources effectively
- Promote positive outcomes for all young people

- Experience in a leadership role within children’s residential care
- Level 5 in Leadership & Management (or willing to work towards)
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent knowledge of safeguarding and the Children Act
- Resilient, organised, and approachable
- Full UK driving licence
